I am a very small business. The policies described on this page are meant to protect both you as a customer, as well as me as a small business. As such, I have to adhere to these policies very strictly. I will not make exceptions.
By placing an order with Pessimistic Press, you agree to abide by the terms described on this page. So please, if you have any questions about any of the Policies here, contact me before placing your order!
Shipping
I mail orders out once a week on Tuesdays. All orders* received by 11:59 pm CST on Sunday will be mailed that coming Tuesday. If an order does not make the cutoff time, then it will be mailed on the next Tuesday.
I mail your order using whatever shipping option you chose during checkout. However, the time estimate given for each of the options applies to the number of days after I have mailed the order.
To make this really clear, let me give you an example:
If you place an order at 10:00 am CST on Monday, June 10th, that is after the weekly cutoff, so I would mail it on Tuesday, June 18th. If you chose expedited shipping (with a delivery estimate of 1 - 2 days) that would mean you should have your order by June 20th.
Important: I guarantee mailing your order according to the schedule described above, and with the shipping method you chose at checkout. I cannot, however, be held responsible for any shipping delays after I have mailed the package.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
It is incredibly important to me that everyone who purchases something from Pessimistic Press is satisified. If you are not satisfied with your order, it is very important that you contact me immediately. Whether you want a refund or an exchange, the first step is contacting me.
You have up to 7 days after your order arrival date (as recorded by the shipping company) to contact me about wanting a refund or an exchange. If you fail to contact me within 7 days, I am afraid that I will not be able to help you. So please, take a look at your order as soon as you receive it!
For Refunds:
Once you have contacted me, you will need to ship the item back to Pessimistic Press (at your cost) undamaged and in the original packaging. As long as I receive the item within 30 days of you contacting me, and the item is not damaged in any way, then I will issue you a refund, minus the original shipping costs. If the item is not received within 30 days, or if the item is damaged in any way, I will not be able to issue you a refund. There are no partial refunds.
For Exchanges:
San exchange is really a refund and a new order, so start by following the steps to initiate a refund. Then you can either place a new order right away (it would speed the process up) or you can wait for the refund to be issued. Just remember, if the item does not arrive within 30 days, or if the item is damaged at all, I will not be able to issue a refund. There are no partial refunds.
T-Shirt Shipping
Because I print t-shirts once a week if I receive orders, it may take up to an additional 7 days for me to mail orders with t-shirt(s) in them. If you want to read about why, check out the FAQ page.
